GCRA honors the life and legacy of Minister Mary E. Simmons.

Minister Simmons was the 1st woman to serve as President of GCRA and began a path that many women in our organization has followed on their road to leadership in NAREB.

She was the founder and Broker of Simmons Realty, a trailblazing Black-owned real estate firm in Cleveland and one of the leading bank managers in the city of Cleveland. Her life and career were built on values of commitment and service.

We always remember those who have paved the way before us, and continue to stand on their shoulders as we continue the mission of Democracy in Housing.

A trailblazer, leader, and woman of faith. We are grateful for Minister Mary Simmons’ dedication to our community, and lift her family in prayer during this time.

Greater Cleveland Realtist Family and Friends; mark your calendars to attend the Community & Family Day, hosted by the National Urban League and the Urban League of Greater Cleveland.

This is a great opportunity to invite your friends, family, and colleagues for a day of networking, education, entertainment, and resources for everyone.

Our own Madam Amber Lewis , Region VIII VP, and our ORA President Robert Pasker will be on the Main Stage to speak to the audience about the ABC’s of Homebuying, so you want to get your seat at the Huntington Convention Center early!
