We're gettin pretty good at this short-term rental game 🚀

Your rental will NEVER be 100% perfect for your first guests. No matter how hard you try, or how long your checklist is 🤓

So we let one of the cleaners' family stay the first 2 nights, on us. They absolutely LOVE the "staycation", and we get invaluable feedback on any unknown issues. Hell, she even takes care of most of the issues herself! 🙏🏼

And as we all know, first impressions are everything. Get a glowing review / first-impression for future guests to see 😏

Also... get Wi-Fi enabled thermostats so the team can adjust the temp upon guest checkout - from anywhere in the world and save some utility costs 🌴☀️🏄

Wanna have someone else doing all your building material runs for you, but don't wanna hand em the keys to the castle and give them free reign over the type of materials used, and the costs of the materials? 🤔

1) Develop a "Standard Materials List" to use when runners or contractors go to Home Depot 💡

2) Lay out a clear scope of work for the contractor so they know what materials they need ☑ ☑ ☑

3) Sign up for Text and Confirm at the Home Depot Pro Desk and put a credit card on file 👌🏼

4) Tell them to call you when Home Depot sends you a text at the Pro Desk checkout so you don't miss the sms, and talk over any issues with your materials 🚀
