To the person starting a small business:

You don’t need to look successful to start building something worth being proud of.

Start with the tools you have. The vehicle you can afford. The one customer willing to give you a chance. There is dignity in an honest beginning.

Some days, you’ll send estimates and hear nothing. You’ll question your prices, your decisions, and yourself. A slow week can make you forget how much courage it took to get here.

Don’t let a hard day make every decision for your future.

Keep your word. Return the call. Show up when you said you would. Own your mistakes and make them right. Learn your numbers, charge enough to keep going, and give people a reason to trust your name.

You can be scared and still take the next step. You can change your plan and still believe in your dream. You can rest without giving up.

Pray for wisdom. Put in the work. Let yourself be a beginner.

That first customer matters. That first profitable month matters. Being able to provide for your family through something you built matters even when nobody online is clapping.

Give yourself a chance to find out what you’re capable of. You’ve spent enough time wondering.

This client had a vision! 🌿

After dealing with overgrown landscaping and redoing the beds a couple of times over the years, they were ready for one final refresh — and this time, they knew exactly what they wanted.

We removed everything and gave them a clean slate. The homeowner took the lead on the design, while we helped with ideas and suggestions along the way. Once the plan was set, we headed to the nursery, sourced the plants, and got to work!

We finished everything off with fresh bed mix, a weed-prevention application, and dyed brown mulch from Lowe's Greenhouse

The new design is simple, clean, and much easier to maintain, using smaller shrubs and perennials that won’t eventually take over the beds.

This customer wanted to shrink down the size of the flower bed and add a retaining wall to create a clean separation between the landscaping and the lawn, but wasn’t quite sure how to tackle the project or have the time to get it done.

We came in with a plan, reused some of the existing pavers to help keep the cost down, and completed the entire transformation in just one day!

Another project where we came in, made it happen, and delivered exactly what the customer was looking for. 💪🌿

We recently wrapped up another hardscape transformation!

The customer wanted a new tiered timber retaining system installed down the hillside and also decided to replace the old timber stairs, which had become deteriorated and slippery.

This project came with a few challenges, especially getting the final grade to work properly on both ends, but our crew worked through it and got the job done.

Plans changed on site — so we changed with them. 💪

Once we arrived, the customer confirmed the shed was a different size than originally proposed. No problem. We adjusted the layout, adapted the game plan, and kept the project moving.

We built a solid, level shed base while making sure the area was properly pitched away from the hill for drainage.
