If it wont cause financial strain, “do the project”. I truly mean this….just do it. I spent 20 years in a home and hated the patio. We never used it due to how shaded it was and the cushions on furniture would never dry out, so after the first rain each year it remained a damp mess. I wanted it to be better, I wanted to use it, but I was being cheap. Fast forward to a $2400 project that turned this into my oasis - $2400 I could have spent years prior and enjoyed this space but I delayed it and now guess what. I’m moving. I got ONE season of enjoyment. So my advice is…”do the project” and enjoy. Whether it’s painting a room, installing new floors, or a big renovation - if you can afford it, give yourself permission to do it. My plan is to recreate this at my next home…immediately, I’m not making this mistake twice.

This is a great opportunity!
