Grayton Beach State Park, South Walton
Where art meets nature underwater
With its powder-soft sands and 2,000 acres of wilderness, this Emerald Coast state park is a breathtakingly beautiful place to explore. Spend the day trail hiking or paddling a canoe on the dune lake. Birds and wildlife thrive here, including green sea turtles that can sometimes be seen digging nests in the sand.
Scuba divers will not miss the Underwater Museum of Art – an amazing sight that blends nature with human creativity. Sculptural works from artists around the world are installed in an underwater garden just offshore, attracting marine life and eventually transforming into a living reef.

South Beach Miami

South Beach is not just the sandy, beachy stretch. It's part of Miami Beach – the southern tip, to be exact. South Beach runs from South Pointe Park in the south to Dade Boulevard in the north and is generally the place you see on TV during sporting events. The sporting events take place miles away from South Beach.

Good to know about South Beach in Miami
South Beach is an easily navigable area with much of the action centered around a few streets, such as Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. There is a SoBe local bus that runs from South Pointe Park to the top of South Beach at 23rd Street, which can be an affordable and easy way to get around. Otherwise, there are bicycle rental stations throughout the area, with over 1,000 bikes and miles of boardwalk and paths to cycle on.
Outside the whole Miami Beach area, South Beach has a reputation for being a neighborhood for wealth and fame. While the bars, restaurants, and hotels can be pricey, there are still many ways to explore on a budget. It’s often much more affordable and quieter to head to South Beach after and before the peak summer season in Florida.

This barrier reef island near Fort Myers is a seashell paradise with millions of shells washing up on its shores every year. Shellers love to come here to search for beautiful specimens like conches or sand dollars to add to their collection, especially from January through March.

Window shade Pass Beach has lovely soft white sands with some of the best shelling grounds, while those looking for a more secluded escape could head to Bowman’s Beach. Sanibel and Captiva island are reached via a 5km causeway with a $3 toll for cars. Measuring about 20 km by 5k m in size, Sanibel is ideal for exploring by bicycle.

Após dois anos de crescimento quase ininterrupto, os preços das moradias podem finalmente ter atingido o pico em algumas cidades dos EUA, de acordo com dados da Florida Atlantic University. Ainda assim, os especialistas preveem que o mercado imobiliário da Flórida permanecerá forte em comparação com outras partes do país.
Todo mês, os economistas Ken H. Johnson, da FAU, e Eli Beracha, da Florida International University comparam o preço esperado da habitação com o preço real nas maiores áreas metropolitanas do país.
After two years of near-nonstop growth, housing prices may have finally peaked in some U.S. cities, according to data from Florida Atlantic University. Still, experts predict that Florida’s real estate market will remain strong compared to other parts of the country.
Each month, economists Ken H. Johnson from FAU and Eli Beracha from Florida International University compare the expected price of housing with the actual price in the country’s largest metro areas.
