Karyn Roy-Smith's love for all things real estate came from a passion of transforming ordinary venues into beautiful spaces. Karyn joined Californian brokerage Keller Williams Exclusive Properties in 2017. Within her first year she earned #12 of the TOP 25 Associates for the Exclusive Properties Market Center. Karyn established a team with Ted Mackel (CA DRE #01224852 - Associate Broker), forming Mackel, Roy-Smith & Associates in 2019. In 2020 Mackel, Roy-Smith & Associates were awarded 2nd place in all team categories: Team Closed Volume, Top GCI, Team Closed Units and Team Listings Taken. In Idaho, Karyn works exclusively with The Northwest Experience in Coeur D'Alene. Originally born in London, England, Karyn came to the US as a young girl, settling in Ventura County, Ca. Karyn holds a BA in Linguistics, a minor in English as Second Language. She loves traveling (she and her husband have a love for all Nordic wanderings), music, rescuing four legged creatures in her spare time, along with spending time with her family.
