We DO NOT want 'w**d & feed' used in lawns; (unless you have an allergy to dandelions or clover) let the spring flowers grow; let the grass grow; the honey bees need the un-poisoned pollen to survive.

When we mow the dandelions & clover flower tops off, the bees have little spring flower pollen to survive on. And when w**d killer is applied to the lawn flowers, the bees are killed, then we have no bees to pollinate crops for food to grow.

Our eco friendly ideal is:
- only use (if needed) lawn turf builder
-avoid if possible lawn fertilizer unless it is an all natural product from plants and animals that would naturally be spread on the ground, as some fertilizer kills the worms (which we also need);
-Let the spring grass grow taller, until is has to be mowed;
-when you can, mow around the clove and dandelions leaving them as long as possible for the bees.
- pull undesired 'w**ds' by hand OR pick the flower off first, then spray the w**d, so the bees don't stop at the poison on that flower and die.

Dandelion greens are edible if you pick them easily and they have no poison on them; and are even sold in the grocery store for salad.

Dandelion flowers are also edible.

A 'w**d' is only a 'w**d' when it is not desired. Enjoy these spring flowers, the honey bees & the food they pollinate for us to eat.
