Properties with TWO homes + TWO shops + this much usable land don't fit neatly into a Zillow search.

And that's exactly why this one is worth seeing.

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho isn’t cheap anymore. So why are people still moving here?

Because for most of the people I work with, cheap was never really the goal.

They’re looking for something else.

They want to get out of the 6 lanes of traffic and constant GO-GO-GO.

They want pine trees instead of concrete.

Four actual seasons.

A lake they can use on a random Tuesday instead of somewhere they vacation once a year.

They want more space.

Maybe a shop.

Maybe some land.

They want farmers markets, community events, local restaurants and a place that still feels a little smaller.

And a lot of them are simply at the point in life where they're asking:

“If we can live anywhere... why are we still living somewhere we don't really enjoy?”

That's pretty much where we were when we left Arizona.

North Idaho wasn't some brilliant financial decision where everything suddenly became cheaper. 😂

We moved because we wanted our life to look different.

Nearly 9 years later, housing in Coeur d'Alene has gotten expensive.

Property taxes, insurance, groceries and utilities still exist.

Jobs don't always pay what people coming from larger cities expect.

And if you're moving here because someone told you Idaho is a dirt-cheap place to live...

You're probably going to be disappointed.

But people keep coming because affordability is only one part of deciding where you want to spend your life.

For some people, being able to walk downtown and end up at the lake matters.

Having mountains outside your window matters.

Getting outside more matters.

Community matters.

Slowing down matters

And being genuinely happy with where you live matters.

Coeur d'Alene isn't the inexpensive little North Idaho town it once was.

But for the right person, the lifestyle is still worth paying for.

That's the part a price-per-square-foot comparison will never tell you.
