🤯 WOW! Inventory and days on market are returning to more normal levels. Buyers now have choices and can actually get a home for less than list price and avoid bidding wars. Gone are the days of taking the house ”as is”…now buyers can actually ask for repairs and not get laughed at…What the what! It’s a healthy shift.

WHY ARE THEIR SO MANY BUYERS AND SO FEW HOUSES!!!!

I get asked this question often lately. There are so many possible answers, but I do believe the driving force behind all of this is explained in this graph: Historically low interest rates. Buying power is extremely high. Buyers can afford higher priced homes for less per month than ever before!!! This is increasing DEMAND. Combine extremely high demand with historically low inventory (SUPPLY) and BOOM!...if you didn't pay attention in Economics class you are experiencing supply and demand in real life. You saw it with toilet paper last year....Are houses the toilet paper of 2021?...Possibly, but please don't wipe your butt with your house because I promise you, someone wants to buy it!
