Some deals are more complex than others. This A-frame was a prime example:
1. It was an active short term rental, and had limited showing availability.
2. This is a 60โs A-frame in a heavily wooded area. Financing AND insurance were more difficult to obtain than most properties.
3. The seller wanted to sell as-is, with a list price that took the profitable short term rental business into account.
Despite those constraints and the current market challenges, we got it done! We closed above appraisal value with less than $1500 of out of pocket costs for the seller.
