Ever have anything weird happen on Zoom besides somebody picking their nose or pantless (my SIL 😂)

Worst Zoom. Best Outcome.

We got hacked mid-class and had inappropriate content pop up on screen. The worst kind of inappropriate mind you. 😳
I immediately shut it down.

Out of 28 women, 16 came back on.
And booked 6 appointments to talk real estatate

The most appointments we’ve ever gotten… from the worst Zoom we’ve hosted the past 6 months.

Life isn’t about what goes wrong.
It’s about how you handle it.

People don’t connect to perfection.
They connect to real.
To vulnerability.
To watching someone recover, lead, and keep going.

Thank you to the incredible women who stayed.

Feeling the Goruck Training Itch again and want to do another Tough. There is something pretty epic that happened when you embrace the suck for 12 hrs straight starting at 9pm -9’am with no sleep and doing hard things with your peers. That was then, this is now. Older yet wiser. 2016 vs. 2026, 41 vs 51 years old.

🔥The best part about the personal and entrepreneurial journey:

I know who I am, who I’m not, what I want, what I deserve, and what I will not tolerate. 🙏🙏

I have learned from mistakes, I have failed, I have been hurt and I have hurt people sadly.

Yet…this new version of myself is more confident than I’ve ever been yet with a ton of humility…and self-deprecating humor because that’s just me. I’ve seen and been through a lot.

I call that “Humble Confidence”.

I know who’s for me and who isn’t. I have a very discerning soul and can spot energy vampires from a mile away.

I protect my peace more than ever and….recover from bad thoughts, reacting wrong faster than I ever have.

Not because it’s easy, but because I have Jesus to lean on every time.

I strive to make him proud, my kids, family and partners.

My goal is to always be better than yesterday because most days are soo amazing yet some
Days are really hard.

When days are hard, I try not to stay there very long. It’s taking me 51 years to recover quicker and quicker each time.

I am a massively, imperfect human being, but I’m proud to say… When I wake up…

I love who I am and who I am becoming. I hope that you can say that about yourself as well.

Reflecting on the last 10 years has showed me what I made of.

It’s proved that I can get up quick. I can reset my life quicker and I pray that it shows my kids that they can do that too and then I’m an example for my children.

If you are going through a rough time, just know that you can do this. You can’t do it alone. You have to be really intentional. You have to protect your energy and if you have to know you’re worth.

Who wants to train for another Goruck?

What are you training for??
GRT’s , what are your best tips for newbies?

I’ve done several Toughs, 1 Tough/Light and made it to 20 Hours of the Denver Heavy along with a 24 hr Cloverleaf.

Hardest Part:
1. Having to tap out 4 hours early at the 24 hour hour heavy. It hurt my ego yet I went in with a pre-existing injury and was in pain the entire time. My entire back was going out due to my hips not holding me up. I wished I could have held on for four more hours and still question my decision to quit. Hip bursitis is no joke! Ouch!

3. The cool down between events in the same day. If you attempt one of these, don’t take a nap and keep moving. My knees locked up prior to starting the Boulder light after climbing Green Mountain with a brutal descend. That was the hardest part. Lots of pounding on the knees with so much weight in the ruck.

Best advice received:
🔹 Put lots of miles in to give your body and feet time to adjust to the weight and mileage.
🔹 Buy good Shoes
🔹 Use a Goruck ruck.

Face and feel your emotions fully to begin the healing process.
