💭 One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from home buyers is:

“If I don’t use a buyer’s agent, I’ll be able to negotiate a lower purchase price.”

While that may sound logical, it simply isn’t how most real estate transactions work.

A seller isn’t automatically able—or obligated—to reduce the price simply because a buyer chooses not to have representation. Every transaction is different, and compensation is negotiated separately from the purchase price.

POV: My job has somehow made all of this feel completely normal 😂🏡

• driving to meet people I’ve never met before at empty houses
• getting emotionally invested in homes that aren’t mine
• casually asking someone’s life goals and budget 5 minutes after meeting them
• noticing crown molding before I notice anything else
• spending my nights talking inspections, contracts, and interest rates
• mentally redesigning every house I walk into
• knowing more about a home’s HVAC system than my own sometimes
• calling house tours my version of “fun weekend plans”

It may sound slightly unhinged to everyone else… but getting to help people through such a huge chapter of life makes it one of the most rewarding jobs ever 🤍
