****UPDATE**** I am out of the boot, and on to a cane. 75% weight bearing, unlocked brace mobility. I have been measured for a less bulky and intrusive sports brace. Once I have faith in my mobility with cane and all involved feel comfortable that I can move quickly from gas to brake if needed, I will regain my ability to drive.
Specialized brace is recommended through the 6 month mark for optimum strength of PCL. It is at its statistically lowest strength point this coming month.
The wrist is a whole other thing. I started hand OT on Wed. And will have an appointment soon with the hand surgeon team. The big lump? That shouldn't be there. That's my ulna, and if the ligament in my wrist was doing its job, it wouldn't stick out like that. Same ligament's lazy ass is the reason I can't "supinate" which is a big way to say my hand can't hand the way it is supposed to hand. This will probably require another procedure.
Last thing (that I know of) after that is possibly removing the kevlar "buttons" that are holding my new PCL on and they tend to be very tender and we can opt to remove them later in an outpatient procedure.
The cane is purple, and stick on bling is in my possession. I need to plan and apply.

Back before we left FL, I promised Jessi Zacman that I would join Inch By Inch for The Great Cut and go for the world record with The Longhairs in 2024.

The Great Cut is an event where The Longhairs team up with Children With Hair Loss to collect a world record; yeah, like Guinness, amount of hair for kids. The families don't pay for wigs from this group.

So, not just hair, but money helps too. Where the team comes in is by selling off our hair at $25 per inch. If we get to $1,000; Jessie will shave her head (again). You can donate at the link below.

Because I'm mailing in my hair, today was CUT DAY.
