✨ Move-In Day Checklist (the PCS doesn’t end with the pack-out…) 🏡📦
💡 Don’t Skip These!
🏠 Rekey or replace the exterior door locks. (if you bought the place 😉)
🚗 Reset the garage door opener and change the keypad code—you never know who still has access.
🌬️ Replace the HVAC air filter. It’s one of the cheapest ways to start fresh.
🔋 Replace the smoke detector batteries (or test them if they’re hardwired).
🚽 Learn where the gas shutoff is (if applicable).

🗑️ Figure out which day is trash day before your garage fills with boxes.

🍕 And give yourself permission to order takeout. Nobody needs to unpack the kitchen on Day One.
