At this time, we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to provide services to one of our beautiful apartment communities located in Newark. The candidate must have proven apartment maintenance experience in order to be considered for this opportunity. Being a hands on Maintenance Technician for our company, isn’t just about working through maintenance issues and upkeep, it’s about being a part of a team that provides the type of service that puts us above all the rest.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and office staff to ensure both properties are efficiently maintained to company standards.
-Complete unit turns, maintenance requests, and preventative maintenance.
-Upkeep of community grounds, buildings, and other common areas.
-Complete seasonal tasks such as snow removal, fall clean up, and spring clean up.
-Participate in property inspections.
-Communicate regularly with management regarding safety or liability issues, also regarding any preventative maintenance needs.
-Answers to and provides service to after-hours emergency maintenance calls.
-Other tasks as needed.
Qualifications Include:
High school diploma
Some college or trade school (Preferred)
HVAC certified (Preferred)
Drywall, including painting & carpentry
Plumbing & electrical
General appliance repairs
Water heater – gas & electric (preferred)
At least 2 years of maintenance in multi-family housing
Reliable transportation
