For 2025, there were 29,626 closed sales recorded in the Columbus & Central Ohio Regional MLS, up from 28,754 sales in 2024, a 3% year-over-year increase. Gross residential real estate sales in central Ohio topped $11.1 billion in 2025. The gross residential real estate sales total was $10.5 billion in 2024.
Home prices have stabilized compared to earlier in the year, giving buyers and sellers a clearer picture of where the market stands heading into 2026.

Upper Arlington opened their new Community Center on Monday. Before & after- who remembers the former Lazarus/Macy’s building?
The community center is only one element of a larger redevelopment of the former Macy’s store and its parking lot at the Kingsdale Shopping Center. A seven-story senior housing facility (The Coventry Senior Living) and a five-story apartment complex called The Kingston have also been built on the site.
