"What you seek is seeking you," Or is it, "You are what you seek"?

Rumi's quote is often popularized as "What you seek is seeking you," however; the more literal translation from the original Persian is closer to "You are what you seek."

Regardless of which one you choose, both interpretations capture the essence of Rumi's message, which is about the interconnectedness of one's desires and their journey to find them.

The "You are what you seek" translation emphasizes that our desires are a reflection of ourselves, while the popularized version highlights the idea that our search for fulfillment is a two-way process, where both the seeker and the sought are connected.

It's a beautiful reminder of the universal principles that guide us in our quest for meaning and purpose in this lifetime.
