🚨 SCAM ALERT – PLEASE READ & SHARE 🚨

If you are looking for a home to rent, owner finance, or purchase, PLEASE make sure you can physically verify who you’re dealing with before moving forward.

These scammers are getting bold — and they are targeting people who are actively searching for housing.

Here are a few 🚩 red flags to watch for:
• They refuse to meet in person
• They won’t talk on the phone
• They push you to communicate only through apps or messaging
• They send links (Zoom or other platforms) that could compromise your personal information

⚠️ There is currently a scam circulating on a property in West Point, MS. This is NOT the first time this has happened. Scammers are pulling real listing photos and posing as the owner, trying to rent out homes that are actually listed for sale.

I’ve already had multiple people reach out about this property today — thankfully, they asked questions before sending any money.

💡 Protect yourself:
• Never send money without verifying ownership
• Always confirm the listing with a licensed agent
• Trust your gut — if something feels off, it probably is

It’s honestly frustrating to see people take advantage of others who are just trying to find a place to live.
