Our crew is down in the excavation getting the forms and support structure set and everything prepped for the upcoming concrete pour. Proper preparation is what helps create a strong, stable finished product that’s built to last.🚧

🚧 Yesterday we talked about edging… today we’re showing you how it’s done!

Yesterday’s post showed what properly edged asphalt looks like and why this step is so important. Today, you get to see our crew in action applying the sealcoat by hand, and using squeegees to carefully work it along the edges before tackling the rest of the lot.

And we have to admit… there’s something VERY satisfying about watching those clean lines come together. 😍👏

🚧 It’s all in the details!

Before the sealcoat machine takes over the majority of the parking lot, our crew takes the time to edge the asphalt by hand.

Hand-applying sealcoat around the perimeter allows our guys to be more precise and controlled near concrete, curbs, landscaping, buildings, and other areas where the spray machine can’t get too close.

It may be a small part of the finished product, but it plays a big role in creating those clean, professional edges you see when the job is complete. 👏

A lot more goes into sealcoating a parking lot than just spraying it! 🚧

Our crew recently removed and replaced this concrete pad at a local cancer center. This area is used by specialized trucks that park onsite to help provide treatments to patients, so having a strong, reliable surface is about much more than just appearances.

There’s a lot more to a concrete project than just the pour! 💪 Our crew puts in the work breaking out and removing the old concrete, prepping the area, and making sure everything is ready for a strong, long-lasting finished product.
