This is why you never waive a home inspection. 🔥

This week our gas detector went off at a fitting in a crawlspace. It was a significant gas leak, hidden under a home where no one would have seen it. We shut off the gas right away and notified the utility company, who were on their way.

Safety and life-safety issues are the #1 reason inspections should never be skipped. These problems can show up in any home, at any time, and you can't see them from a walkthrough or a listing photo.

Agents: when your buyers are tempted to waive, this is the conversation to have. Knowing the home is safe comes first, every time.
