Two happy dogs and an orange ball that may or may not get fetched today. While I'm out mowing and chipping away at the yard work this weekend, Teddy and Hazel have clearly landed the better job — supervising from the shade and reminding me to slow down and enjoy it.

There's a kind of quiet out here that settles right into your bones. Trees, blue sky, dirt under your paws, and nowhere you'd rather be.

We hope your weekend has a little of this peace in it too. 🐾

One of the best weekends of the summer is almost here. 🎉

The 52nd Annual Market Days Festival returns to downtown Concord June 25–27, 10am to 10pm each day. If you've never been, picture half a mile of Main Street closed to cars and filled with 150+ vendors, three stages of live music, local food, and a few thousand of your neighbors all in one place.

It's free, it's family-friendly, and Intown Concord does an incredible job every year. New tip: NHTI is offering free parking and a shuttle downtown (10am–8pm daily), so you can skip the parking headache.

This is exactly the kind of thing I mean when I talk about loving where you live. Whether you've been here for years or you're just starting to wonder what it'd be like to call this area home, come spend a day downtown — you'll get a real feel for the community.

Found a little slice of quiet at Hopkins Pond today. 🛶

Spent the morning out on the water with my husband — him fishing, me kayaking. When I’d had my fill of paddling and he was still casting away, I wandered the trail that loops around the pond. Easy walking, peaceful, the kind of spot that makes you slow down and actually breathe.

Here’s something about me: I love helping people. It’s the heart of what I do. But I also really value my alone time — and if I’m not on the back of a horse, you’ll usually find me out in the woods on a trail, on foot, with or without my dogs.

If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to retreat and an easy trail to explore, you’ve got to put Hopkins Pond on your list.

Mornings like this are the whole reason I do what I do.

Two horses, a quiet pasture, summer sun — nothing fancy, just home. This is the life so many of my clients are after. Not a specific kind of house or a certain number of acres. Just a place that feels like theirs.

That’s what “love where you live” really means to me. Whether it’s a farm with room for the animals, a place in town close to everything, or a first home you’ve been saving years for — your version counts.

And no — no AI headshots over here. 😆 As incredible a tool as AI is, when it comes to representing myself, I’ll take the real thing every time. A little older, a little grayer, a few more wrinkles, some tattoos, and a whole lot more life experience. I want my clients to recognize me when we meet — not wonder who showed up.

Six years between the last photo and these three, and honestly? I’ll take where I am now. 🤍

No AI headshots over here. 😆

Updated photos were taken today, and while AI is an incredible tool, when it comes to representing myself, I still prefer the real thing. A little older, a little grayer, a few more wrinkles, some tattoos, and a whole lot more life experience. I want my clients to recognize me when we meet, not wonder who showed up.

Looking at this photo, it's hard to believe it was taken 6 years ago.

A lot has changed since then. Rocky (on the left) and Cadien, the palomino in the background, both left us last year and are missed every day. 🤍 Hazel is still by my side, sporting a few more gray hairs herself these days... which seems only fair.

What makes this photo even more special is that Hazel came home with me after one of my first listing appointments. The seller knew she was meant to be mine, and thankfully trusted me enough to make that happen. Years later, she's still my shadow and one of the best gifts this business has ever given me. 🐾

The new headshot proofs should be ready sometime next week.

And tomorrow? I continue the tattoo sleeve I started last year. At this point, I figure the skin is going to age either way, so it might as well have some artwork on it. 😉
