Is it a buyer’s or seller’s market? That depends on three things — your price range, property type, and location.

For years sellers had the upper hand with low inventory, bidding wars, and homes selling over asking. But things are shifting.

More homes are hitting the market and in some areas buyers finally have more leverage.

If you’re buying, strategy matters more than ever.

If you’re selling, pricing and marketing are key.

Either way, having the right agent makes all the difference. The market is changing, but with the right plan you can win whether you’re buying or selling. Want to know what’s happening in your area? Let’s chat, I would love to show you what I can do for you.

Global events can have real effects on the housing market. With the recent conflict involving Iran, oil prices have surged and inflation concerns have increased. That’s important because mortgage rates are closely tied to the bond market—especially the 10-year Treasury yield.

As investors worry about inflation from higher energy prices, bond yields have been rising, which has already pushed average 30-year mortgage rates back to around 6% after briefly dipping below that level.

What does that mean for buyers and sellers?
➡️ Rates may stay volatile in the short term
➡️ Higher rates can impact affordability and buyer demand
➡️ But today’s rates are still lower than this time last year

If you’re thinking about buying or selling, it’s more important than ever to stay informed and have a strategy. I’m always happy to help you navigate the market.
