Why I do What I do

I began to become interested in real estate while I was staging many homes throughout Colorado Springs. While also owning my own interior design business for a number of years, I have loved working with people within their homes. I feel as though your home should be a place to retreat to, a place where you love to be, and one where you can recharge and renew, hence the name, Unlock Your Retreat. So, I decided to combine my longtime design and staging experience with a rewarding real estate career.

I attended Texas Tech University, graduating magna cm laude in 2000 with a Bachelor of Interior Design. From there, I began working in the commercial design industry with a prominent architectural firm in Dallas, Corgan Associates, and soon became a registered interior designer. In the years that followed, residential design became an area I wanted to pursue, and I have gained extensive knowledge and experience staging homes and renovating/designing existing homes for clients all over the Colorado Springs area. As I have helped many homeowners create spaces in their homes that they love and cherish, my staging experience has guided sellers to know how to prepare their home to hit the real estate market. With my eye for design, I am also assisting people in search of their own retreat they will call home. Seeing the potential in a home is my specialty, as I help buyers to envision the possibilities of making a home truly their own. I have tailored my skills so that I am in tune with the desires of my clients and I’m highly committed to representing them well.

I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and have three delightful kids that call me mom. I would be remiss without mentioning Lambo, our endearing golden retriever. Although a born and raised Texas girl, my family and I love all that Colorado has to offer and enjoy the outdoors in our spare time. We cherish and enjoy time with good friends, and visit family in our hometown of Dallas, Texas often.
