stepped outside today and ran into this impressive "muster" (that’s the official name for a group of peacocks!) hanging out in the neighborhood.

One of the things I love most about living here is that you never quite know who you’re going to run into on your morning walk. They certainly weren't in any hurry to let me by!

Today was spent at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery for the annual Wreath Laying Ceremony. It is an incredibly moving experience to pause at each stone, read the name, and reflect on the tremendous sacrifice.

Thank you to the Friends of the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery and every volunteer who made sure no one was forgotten today. It's a privilege to be part of a community that shows this level of respect and remembrance.
