The Fed made its first rate cut in over 3 years AND they’re anticipating even lower rates before end of year!📉 What does this mean for you?!
Well, directly from Fed Chair Jerome Powell when asked if cutting rates could make housing prices go up: “It’s tricky. Right now, people aren’t selling homes because they have low mortgage rates. If rates drop, more people might sell, but also buy. So, it’s unclear if demand will rise.”
Bottom line ➡️ Powell isn’t sure how housing will react to rate cuts but we know from recent history that lower rates will get buyers off the sidelines and drive home prices UP.📈 So if you’re wondering if this is the time to be looking for your next (or first) home, the answer is YES!!💥 Get in there before the potential of home prices rising and your competition entering the game! 🏃‍♂️💨 Let’s chat! 🔑✨
