Happy 26th Birthday Cheyenne Sunshine McCarty! My most precious first born. From the moment you were born, life for me had new meaning and love felt like nothing before. You know how much I adore you and enjoy our time together. Happy Anniversary to my parents today on this first one without waking up next to one another. As the years added up, my dad used to make an effort to buy my mom jewelry for their anniversary. I remember last year Hilko and I walked up and down El Paseo for hours looking in every jewelry store for the perfect piece. It was both hilarious and so beautiful to see. I cannot imagine what you’re feeling today mom but I’m on my way to you to give you a “Remember I’m half of Hilko” hug. (Something I realized during the grieving process, I could give 1/2 Hilko hugs 😇). See you in a couple of hours mom! Let’s celebrate all that you made together, specifically this beautiful family. And I always say-special kudos to my sister who made it all happen!! 😉💋
