Many years ago, I was introduced to the Majesty of the Great Smoky Mountains, and it truly was love at first sight. After years of travelling here when we had ANY free time at all, my family decided to make the big move here about 10 years ago. THIS is home to me and my heart is truly in the mountains. I have always said, “Live where you love, and love where you live.”
We landed in Seymour, as w
e needed to be close to Knoxville for my husband to be able to find work. Seymour was the perfect place for us to start here in Tennessee. I was lucky enough to bring my job with me and work from home, which I did for several years. When we decided to move closer to the Mountains we loved, we found a home in Gatlinburg, with the help of a wonderful Real Estate Agent, Mark Meade, who is the owner of the Real Estate Agency I now work for. Funny how things work.....
I finally decided I needed to get back out in the community I loved, and I found a job at the City of Gatlinburg in the Building and Planning Department. I worked there for over 2 years, until my family purchased a restaurant in the area. My experience at the City definitely helped give me a unique insight on Zoning and Building Requirements, which helps me as a Real Estate Agent. I love houses and property, so becoming an Agent was a natural fit for me. Because of the friendship my family formed with Mark after helping us find our perfect home, it was a no-brainer for me to work for Mark. I am truly blessed to be able to work for the best Broker/Owner at Live In The Smokys. I relocated here and I know what it’s like.
