Safety concerns and active problems, such as leaks or electrical issues, generally deserve prompt professional attention. Items showing significant wear may need to move higher on the list. Routine maintenance can be scheduled, while cosmetic preferences often offer more flexibility.

Prioritizing projects this way can make home maintenance feel much more manageable and help you focus on what needs attention first.

COVINGTON HIGH SCHOOL NEEDS COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Covington High School is making headlines, and now the entire community has an opportunity to help the Lions bring home an incredible prize!

Covington High School has advanced to the South Division finals of T-Mobile's Friday Night 5G Lights competition after successfully winning both the $5,000 and $25,000 rounds. Now, the school is competing for an extraordinary prize package that includes $250,000, a weight room renovation, and an additional $5,000 student leadership award.

From October 8 through October 25, supporters can vote for Covington High School once per day. Every vote is an opportunity to help the school advance in the competition and bring valuable resources to its students and athletic programs.

Community members, local businesses, alumni, parents, students, and supporters throughout St. Tammany Parish and beyond are encouraged to participate. Organizers are asking everyone to make voting part of their daily routine and help spread the word through social media, workplaces, schools, and community organizations.
