Single-family homes across Lake & Porter Counties are selling hotter than ever! 🔥

In December 2025, the median sale price in Northwest Indiana hit $276,250—a 1% increase year-over-year—and the average sale price reached $321,196, up 5% from last year.

Homes are taking a bit longer to sell, with average days on market rising to 50 days (median 31 days).

Porter County is holding strong too: median sale price around $315K, just 1.8% lower year-over-year, but homes are moving faster—51 days on market, down from 54 a year ago.

Lake County listings are also shifting—median days on market clocked in at 61 days in December 2025.
