To my dear Friends of SAFE

As I conclude my involvement with Friends of SAFE and the page, I do so with gratitude for the opportunity to have supported SAFE's mission for nearly three decades. It has been a privilege to work alongside so many dedicated volunteers, staff, donors, sponsors, and community partners who have made it possible to serve survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of this work. I remain grateful for all that we accomplished together on behalf of those we served.

🎉It’s a full day of Mardi Gras fun in Downtown Culpeper on Saturday, February 21, 2026!

Spend the day at the Downtown Culpeper Carnival Celebration with live music, street performers, face painting, balloon art, carriage rides, shopping specials, and plenty of great food from local spots. It’s free, family friendly, and a perfect way to enjoy everything downtown has to offer.

Then keep the celebration going that evening at SAFE’s Mardi Gras Luxury Bingo Masquerade Ball. Join us for a night of bingo, prizes, music, food, and a little extra sparkle, all while supporting SAFE’s work with survivors in our community.

Make a day of it in Downtown Culpeper and join Friends of SAFE in the evening for a celebration that gives back.💜💚💛
