Proud to share that I’ve officially earned my Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) Certification through the National Association of REALTORS®.
I decided to pursue this certification because too many homeowners facing financial hardship, foreclosure, or missed payments don’t fully understand the options available to them. In many cases, people assume foreclosure is their only outcome when that simply is not true. Having the right guidance early can make a major difference.
I have helped many families in the last few years avoid foreclosure through selling their homes or helping them negotiate with their lender to refinance the property. In some situations, my sellers who thought they were going to lose their home, were actually able to sell their home just days before the county foreclosure sale and walk away with proceeds.
Every situation is different, but this is exactly why it’s so important to consult with a qualified professional as early as possible — even if you’re unsure what your options are. Sometimes there are solutions available that homeowners never knew existed.
This designation allows me to better advocate for sellers, navigate difficult situations strategically, and help homeowners protect as much equity as possible during challenging times.
