I snapped these pictures on Lake Texoma this week, and it reminded me all over again why I love this area so much.

If you’ve ever thought about owning a place at the lake, Pottsboro has some really great options on the market right now—and there truly is something for just about every kind of lake lifestyle.

📊 **MARKET MINUTE | What’s Happening in Real Estate?**

This week’s housing data is telling an interesting story:

🏡 **Pending home sales fell to their lowest level of the year in July**, as higher home prices and mortgage rates continued to hold some buyers back.

🔨 **New construction also slowed**, with housing starts falling 12.4% in July and single-family construction dropping to its slowest pace since 2022.

📉 **Mortgage applications remain sluggish**, with purchase applications down 2% for the week and 3% compared with last year.

Meanwhile, today’s **30-year fixed mortgage rate is around 6.75%.**

So what does this mean locally?
