Dear valued community members,

I hope this message finds you well. It is with mixed emotions that I share an important update from DFW Housing Initiative.

Regrettably, DiontTa Davis and Merridonna Perez are no longer with our organization. Their departure is a result of multiple infractions, including neglecting the proper screening process for applicants and failing to follow recommended case management procedures, such as for home buyers' programs, credit repair, and financial literacy classes.

Furthermore, their non-compliance with essential organizational processes, such as not attending required board meetings, incomplete and inefficient task completion, and failure to report and document case files through proper channels and chain of command, contributed to their separation from our agency.

At DFW Housing Initiative, our mission is to empower individuals and families through accessible housing opportunities, financial education, and community support. We hold values of integrity, transparency, and commitment to community welfare. Unfortunately, the actions of these individuals did not align with our mission and values. We remain dedicated to our goals of providing affordable housing solutions and fostering financial empowerment within the community.

On a positive note, we have exciting news to share. We are delighted to welcome seven new signing on realtors, licensed in a combined 52 states, who will be taking on our full case load starting January 10th. We believe this infusion of talent will enhance our ability to serve you better.

We appreciate your continued support as we address these challenges and reaffirm our commitment to serving the community with honesty, transparency, and the highest standards of professionalism.

Help bring this year’s DFW Housing Initiative 1st Annual Halloween Bash to life!

My name is Dr. Dominique Rose, and I’m the Owner and Director at DFW Housing Initiative. We’re hosting our annual Halloween Bash. This event not only helps raise funds for DFW Housing Assistantance Grants, but it also will raise awareness for our cause across the community.

DFW Housing is committed to bridging the gap between our citizens and poverty communities. We help facilitate the growing participation of PTA committees within schools, HOA communities in neighborhoods, and Town hall meetings with integrated educational programs. We offer the option of teaching those in proverty stricken areas how to obtain home ownership and Financial literacy.
Our previous events have surpass our initial goals and participation as well as allowed us the chance to bring something new to our city. Our Annual Christmas toy and Coat Drive provided toys to well over 2,000 children! What makes our events different than others? Simple! We not only provide these events at no cost to our community but also provide pamphlets, brochures,classes and sign up stations for different enhancing opportunities such as job search, applying for assistance, Resume writing seminars, computer literacy and many more.

We’re proud to announce that this year’s event will be held on October 29th at The Shops of Redbird.

Since the event’s inception, we’ve raised over twenty-five percent over our initial goal, and this year, we plan on raising even more! So far, we are expecting approximately 724 participants that has registered for this event.
However, this event wouldn’t be possible without the support of local companies who provide valuable products and services so that we can support our attendees and participants.

Would you be willing to donate monetary funds, in-kind donation, or volunteer service to help make this year’s event possible? With your donation, we’d be able to provide a community based event that will not only unit our citizens but also educate them on financial literacy.
