🏡 More Than a Beautiful Home. A Place to Belong. 💚

One of the things we're most proud of at First Step Sober Living isn't just our house—it's the people who make it feel like home.

This room is a perfect example.

While the home itself offers large, comfortable bedrooms with beautiful natural light and thoughtfully designed spaces, what truly makes it special is the love that's poured into it. Our Housing Manager partnered with one of our residents to personalize this room, creating a warm, peaceful environment that reflects the care, dignity, and hope we want every woman to experience when she walks through our doors.

Because recovery shouldn't feel institutional.

It should feel like coming home.

At First Step, we've worked hard to build more than a place to sleep. We've built a community where women encourage one another, celebrate victories together, and find the support they need to rebuild their lives. Every detail—from the way the house is cared for to the relationships formed inside it—is intentional.

Our Housing Manager pours her heart into this home every single day, creating an environment where women are seen, supported, and challenged to become the best version of themselves.

We believe quality recovery housing should be accessible, which is why our beds are just $900 per month.

TROHN (Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network) certification represents a commitment to providing safe, ethical, recovery-focused housing that supports women on their journey to long-term sobriety and healing.

This certification is important because it means our home meets recognized standards for accountability, peer support, structure, and quality care in recovery housing. It also shows our dedication to creating an environment where women can rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and community.

Early recovery can feel overwhelming, but having a safe and supportive environment makes all the difference. Recovery is about learning how to live again, connect again, and feel again without substances.
