We just closed the refinance of Avaya Steeplechase, marking another major milestone for our team!

This 290-unit Class B community in Houston represents far more than a standard refinance. The process stretched over 18 months, with multiple financing strategies explored along the way. When earlier paths ultimately fell through, we were able to move quickly because the groundwork had already been laid. We’re grateful to the Arbor team for helping us successfully execute the HUD refinance.

Steeplechase also represents our 5th refinance completed within the last 12 months, refinancing $150M of upcoming maturities into $167M of new long-term fixed-rate debt across Agency, CMBS, and HUD structures.

We’re grateful to our investors who trusted our long-term approach focused on preserving principal and extending runway through stable, fixed-rate financing with meaningful term remaining. There’s no question that the last several years have tested multifamily operators across the country.
