When I tour homes with my clients, I’m taking in more than just pretty countertops. I’m thinking about resale value, liveability, and what a future buyer might think, too. Here are just a few of the things I pick up on right away:

🔹 How it smells and feels — Musty air or strong candles can be red flags for bigger issues.
🔹 Natural light — A bright home makes a world of difference in how it lives and photographs.
🔹 The floors — Creaks, uneven areas, or patch jobs often hint at what’s below the surface.
🔹 The flow — I pay attention to how each space connects to the next and how the home lives.
