🚧 First Street (Coit-Custer) Update! The contractor overseeing the construction on First Street, spanning from Coit to Custer Road, has tentatively scheduled a traffic switch for Thursday by the end of the day. Following this switch, one lane will be open for eastbound traffic and one lane for westbound traffic, facilitating access to the newly paved sections between Coit and Custer Road.
Please note that traffic control measures will remain in effect to ensure the safety of all commuters, maintaining traffic flow to one lane in each direction, which will allow the contractor to safely complete the installation of the median irrigation and decorative landscaping.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work to enhance this vital thoroughfare. This project is on schedule to be completed by May 2024 (weather permitting). Stay tuned for further updates!
