So Leonardo DeCaprio just bought an apartment in New York for $10 million. It has a Vitamin C shower, heat reflexology flooring, and a lighting design that provides a "dawn simulation", as well as a "wellness concierge" who helps you plan your wellness activities for each day. So, if you could invent any apartment amenity that you wanted, what would it be? I'm thinking free daily massages and a private saltwater swimming pool inside your own apartment. What would you like? :)

The City of Carrollton passed an Ordinance banning the smoking of electronic ci******es anywhere within 20 feet of retail establishments and restaurants. This ordinance just went into effect April 21rst. The city of Frisco passed a similar ordinance. Expect to see other areas of Dallas follow suite. Penalties for violation include paying a fine up to $2,000.

A new development of over 1000 apartments (9 million square feet) is underway in West Dallas by 2 former Dallas Cowboys, Robert Shaw and Roger Staubach, just across the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The development site is called "Trinity Groves" and will include retail, commercial space, entertainment, and restaurants. The goal is to create a new vibrant, mixed use walkable neighborhood for all the apartment residents. Hold tight everyone...more communities will soon be added to the "Dallas best apartments" list!

Dallas Roadways Update-
One lane of east- and westbound Belt Line Rd under Interstate 35E will be closed daily from 9am-3:30pm, Tues, 4/29 through Sat, 5/3. Crews are preparing to demolish a portion of the I-35E bridge over Belt Line Rd. This is related to the 35Express project, an expansion of I-35E between US Highway 380 in Denton County and I-635 .
