Sold! I have known Terry for several years through Monte Anderson ‘s small scale developer group. We bonded over our shared love of historic homes. It was such a joy to work with a friend to help him buy the perfect house! I was proud (and nervous!) to speak in favor of preserving City Hall at Wednesday’s city council meeting. I had not planned to speak, and ended up being the last speaker of the day. Many people spoke about the need to redevelop downtown and connect it with South Dallas - I agree! This is not an either or. Dallas needs to take care of its facilities, and use its resources in parts of town that have been neglected. There is no reason we can’t keep our city hall and also redevelop the land around it. Dallas has so many issues, I don’t think tearing down city hall is the solution to any of them.

The final result was an agreement to gather more data and explore all options.

We live in a country where the officials we elected are more concerned with pleasing billionaires than serving the people. I hope Dallas will do the right thing and save our City Hall.
