Remembering September 11, 2001

Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless families, first responders, service members, and communities whose lives were forever changed that day.

We remember the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger to help others. We remember the ordinary people who showed extraordinary bravery, compassion, and selflessness. And we remember the nearly 3,000 lives taken far too soon.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor their memory by never forgetting the lives they lived, the sacrifices that were made, and the strength and unity that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
