Happy new house day to some of my favorite clients! Last year I sold their home in McKinney and during the process we became friends. I was SO excited to hear they MIGHT move back this year! We started looking and because they weren't exactly sure where they wanted to be, we cast a wide net! I'm kind of a nervous Nelly about driving outside my comfort zone, so sometimes Lance drove me around and sometimes they picked me and drove 🤣🤣. I'll never forgot our adventures of off-roading! I'm so happy they found a home that's a little closer to me but I told them I'll never stop looking for the perfect house in Stonebridge Ranch so that we can one day be neighbors 💕💕

Everything is bigger in Texas!
Our market has been really tough this year. We have so many sellers (3 times the housing inventory that we had last year!) and not many buyers. Most of the buyers I'm working with aren't local - they are moving here from another state for work. When this family called, they said they were moving here for work and that they needed to be somewhere between Denton & McKinney. And that a pool was a must!!!
They were originally leaning towards Frisco. Most out of state buyers first ask to see Frisco. It's well known throughout the United States for its central location, great schools, job opportunities and big selection of restaurants & shopping. So we started our search in Frisco but I suggested we also check out Prosper, Celina and McKinney. It was immediately apparent that they could get a much bigger yard in McKinney. It's also hard not to fall in love with . The neighborhood amenities, mature trees, winding streets - it's just so pretty and inviting! When they saw this home, it was everything they thought Texas would be! The fireplace in the bathroom gave off Texas mansion vibes, and they knew their boys would love the huge yard with a pool!

We looked high and low, and found the perfect bachelor pad for my client who was relocating to DFW for work!
He travels 50-60 percent of the time, so he knew he wanted a low maintenance townhome in a lively, fun area. His office is in Frisco, so we started the search centered around Legacy and the Star, but when we went to Uptown he knew that's where he had to be!
We found this gem off of Henderson, within walking distance to a lot of great bars and restaurants.
My first home (condo) was in Dallas, close to Knox/Henderson. I don't make it up this area very often, but when I do, it always brings back the best memories! I loved that area then, and I love it just as much now! I SO wish I had held on to condo and kept it as a rental!
When I work with relo clients, we always cast a wide net to start. We have to visit several cities in the metroplex so that they can determine which one best fits their lifestyle and goals. Once we land on an area, we can hone in on the perfect house. It's always fun working with relo clients because it takes me outside of my McKinney bubble and keeps me current on the markets around us.

Congratulations to my clients that closed on the most beautiful home in McKinney last week! We met when they came through one of my open houses and we had the best time searching for their dream home! The private, wooded backyard on this one made us feel like we were in a Colorado mountain home. And the media room was out of this world! Every time we went to see the house, Top Gun: Maverick was playing, and that was honestly what probably won us over!🤣 I can't wait to join them for our first movie date in the new house where we'll get to watch the whole movie!
