Hey y’all ❤️ Everybody communicates differently when they’re looking for a home. Some people want to text, some want to call, and some just want straight answers before they waste a whole day driving around looking at houses. I get that.

That’s why I don’t hit people with the “when can you come see me?” line the second they reach out. A lot of folks just want to know what things actually cost and if it’s even realistic for them before they start the whole process. They don’t want to spend their Saturday getting the runaround and hearing different numbers from every place they go.

Most people simply want to know:
✅ Is buying a home even possible for me?
✅ What would it actually cost?
✅ Can I qualify if my credit isn't perfect?
✅ What are my options?

Those are fair questions—and we're happy to answer them before you ever make the drive.

I love when people come in and see what we’re about, but I also know life doesn’t always work that way. Some people work late, some live a couple hours away, and some just aren’t ready to sit down face to face yet. That’s fine. We can start the conversation over the phone or through text and go from there.

We’re open on Sundays for a reason. We know life is busy, we try to make it as convenient as we can :)

Hey y’all ❤️ Let’s talk about manufactured home financing for a minute — especially those “in-house” lenders.

Financing a home isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are a lot of different programs out there, and if you explore them, you can sometimes save thousands and actually afford the home you really want.

Here’s the thing: Most of us (including me) aren’t finance experts. That’s why it’s so important to work with multiple lenders and understand their programs instead of just throwing your application at one place and hoping for the best.

What gets lost in all this is how personal buying a home really is. Your income, your credit, your debt, your goals — they’re all unique.

There are so many ways to put together a package, just pushing someone to “get pre-qualified” with one lender without knowing your full situation isn’t doing you any favors.

Experience matters.

Hey y’all ❤️ I’ve been thinking a lot lately about why I started The Mobile Home Chicks, and I wanted to share something real with you.
I opened this business on my own. No big investors, no deep-pocket backers, and no one using me as a front. It’s my name, my face, my money, and my reputation on the line every single day.

This wasn’t about chasing big money or jumping on some “gold mine” trend. My reasons were simple and genuine: People who want to become homeowners deserve a real opportunity — without all the games, hidden fees, and pressure.

When you buy from me, you are buying from ME. Not a big corporation. Not a “manager” or sales rep who has no actual stake in the game.

And honestly? That makes what I do feel really special.

What fills my cup more than anything is getting to talk to every single person who reaches out — whether they end up buying from me or not. I’m beyond grateful for every conversation. My goal is that when you leave, you have more knowledge, more clarity, and feel better equipped on your home-buying journey than when you first messaged me.

Of course not. You wouldn’t put up with the crowds, uninterested employees, and lower quality just to pay extra.

So why do the same thing when buying a manufactured home?

Smaller, independent dealers like us and many others across the state, can almost always give you a better deal, better service, and a much better overall experience — often for less money.

Here’s the crazy part:
The big companies own the building facilities, the factories that supply the building facilities, the the sales centers, the setup crews, the finance company, the insurance company, and even the warranty company… yet we still regularly beat their prices.

How?
Because our goals are different.

We don’t have to hit $2 billion in sales. We don’t have shareholders breathing down our necks. We’re local. We’re family-owned.

To us, you’re not a file number — you’re a real person. Our reputation matters. Every single customer is important because your business helps pay for little league fees, family vacations, and keeps our local community strong.

Hey y’all, let’s talk about all those messages I get asking for home info — I live for them! But sometimes people get more than what they asked for🤣

When you message me, I usually start with:
“Sorry if this sounds like I’m trying to get all up in your business…”
Because I am. 🤣

There are two kinds of people in this industry:
The ones who just fling random numbers at you and hope you bite…
And then there’s those like me — the ones who go full detective mode because we actually want to help you.

I could easily just shoot you an application and say “let’s see what the bank says.”
But nah… what bank? Is it even the right one for you? Do you have land? Utilities? What’s your credit situation?

I’m not being nosey just to be nosey — I want to give you all the actual options that could work for your life, not just the quickest sale for me.

Your honesty + my honesty = we actually find the right path.

Have I lost sales by asking all these questions? Yep.
Have a bunch of those same people come back later and buy from me anyway? Also yep.
