How much money do you need up front to buy a house?

1. Down Payment 🏦
FHA loan: 3.5%
VA loan: Nada! Ty for serving!
Conventional: 3.5%-5% minimum

2. Closing costs 📄
Roughly 2% of your purchase price. Ask your agent about negotiating that to be a seller cost.

3. Compensation to your Buyers agent ✨. Also can be negotiated to be a seller cost in this market.
