I have lived in San Diego for over twenty years, from as far south as Coronado to as far north as Carlsbad. Before and during college, I worked in the customer service industry. After receiving a degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego, working as a Bioengineer, and taking time off to start a family, I decided to use my analytical skills and customer service background to focus on real estate and helping San Diegans with all their residential real estate needs.

Happy Mother’s Day ❤️

First, to my mom.

Life wasn’t always perfect growing up, but one thing I have never questioned is how deeply my mom loves her family.

I know without a doubt that she would walk over hot coals for me, my daughter, and the people she loves. She has done everything she could to help me raise Hanna and support us through life.

People always say you can’t pick your family, but honestly, even if I could, I wouldn’t trade mine.

And not only my mom — my daughter’s dad, grandmas, grandpas, aunties, uncles, cousins, friends and so many other people in my life who help me be a better mom.

Today I’m just feeling thankful for every person who helped shape the person I love most in this world. ❤️

In college, I tried to do every problem in my math and science books.

I was visiting my grandparents when I got stuck on one trigonometry problem. I checked the answer in the back, reworked it a bunch of times… and still couldn’t get it.

So I brought it to my grandfather.

He was an engineer and loved figuring things out. He sat down with me, then a friend of his joined in… and then my stepdad.

All three of them worked on it.

None of them could get the answer either.

Turns out—the book was wrong.

But honestly, that’s not the part I remember most.

I remember that they took the time. They sat with me and actually tried to figure it out.

Over the years, my grandfather gave me some of his things—his slide rule, log tables, and his drafting pen set.

When I graduated, he bought me an amazing engineering handbook.

And after he passed, I chose the belt he’s wearing in this photo.

Not totally sure why that was the thing I wanted… but it was. It just felt like him.

I’ll always have that memory.

It didn’t cost anything.
It was just time.

A little clarity around Buyer Representation Agreements…

There are a couple of ways to structure the relationship when working with a buyer’s agent.

A Buyer Representation Agreement can be exclusive or non-exclusive and may last up to 90 days (or longer for certain entity buyers).

A Property Showing Agreement is more limited—used for a specific property or a small number of homes, non-exclusive, and not to exceed 30 days.

Both are simply designed to create clarity from the beginning—how you’re represented, how things work, and what to expect.
