Apparently yesterday was National Daughter’s Day… and somehow I missed the memo. 😂💕 But honestly, one day could never be enough to celebrate my girl.

MaKenzi, watching you grow into the young lady you are becoming is one of the greatest blessings of my life. You are smart, beautiful, determined, funny, caring, and becoming more of your own person every single day. 🥹💗

Being your mom has taught me so much about love, patience, strength, and even myself. I’m so proud of you, not just for the things you accomplish, but for the person you are becoming along the way.

As you continue to grow, I pray you always know your worth, trust God’s plan for your life, walk confidently in who He created you to be, and never be afraid to DREAM BIG. ✨

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Stop Chasing Validation. 🙏🏾

This song came on during my workout this morning, and the message hit differently.

Sometimes we spend so much time looking for validation from people wanting them to understand us, approve of us, support us, or recognize what we bring to the table.

But I had to ask myself: Why am I chasing validation from a world that crucified a perfect man?

Everybody isn’t going to understand your journey.
Everybody isn’t going to see your vision.
Everybody isn’t going to celebrate your growth.
And everybody doesn’t have to. 💯

I’m learning that I don’t need the world’s approval to walk in what God has already spoken over my life.

I’m still under construction. 🏗️
Still growing.
Still learning.
Still healing.
Still becoming.
Still trusting God.

And these days, I’m just out here working by FAITH. 🙌🏾

Faith when I can see it.
Faith when I can’t.
Faith when people understand.
Faith when they don’t.

God’s plan > my plan.
Faith over fear.
Purpose over popularity.
God’s validation over people’s approval.

The masterpiece isn’t finished yet. 💙
