Aggie, Class of 2029 (Gig ’em!), and our youngest, Cameron, is a junior at Ryan High School. Cameron plays for the Youth Denton Diablos soccer club as well as the Ryan High Raiders soccer team, and he also runs cross country and track. Cameron also plays in Ryan's Chamber Orchestra. You will also see Cameron taking photos at Ryan sports events and hosting the Raider Rundown. He loves being a part of Raider Media. We love cheering them on in all they do! We both hold Master’s degrees in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University and are proud former Aggies ourselves. Chris earned his BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M, and Melissa earned her BAS in Interdisciplinary Studies, EC–4, from Texas Woman’s University. Chris currently serves as the Assistant Director of Academic Success in the Merrilee Kick College of Business & Entrepreneurship at TWU and teaches undergraduate business courses as an adjunct professor. Melissa also taught undergraduate business courses at TWU as an adjunct professor for nine years. Together, we bring a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in property management, real estate appraisal, and higher education to our clients. Giving back to our community is very important to us. Melissa serves on the Denton Public School Foundation’s annual gala committee and reviews teacher grants and senior scholarships. She also served on the Denton County Appraisal District Board this past summer and is active in the Denton County Aggie Moms organization. Chris serves on two advisory boards for Lambda Chi Alpha at both the University of North Texas and Texas A&M University, is Vice President of the Ryan High School Soccer Booster Club, and is a commissioner for Denton Soccer Association. Outside of real estate, we’re big animal and nature lovers. At home, we have six cats and an aquatic turtle, and we also care for the neighborhood’s feral cats, possums, raccoons, squirrels, and birds. Melissa especially loves planting native Texas plants for pollinators—hummingbirds are her favorite! Each spring, we’re blessed to welcome hummingbirds and a pair of painted buntings that stay with us all summer until fall migration. Our yard is also a haven for birds year-round, with daily visitors like cardinals, chickadees, woodpeckers, blue jays, titmice, sparrows, wrens, dove, and mockingbirds, along with many seasonal guests. We also see plenty of butterflies—gulf fritillaries, queens, monarchs, swallowtails, sulphurs, hairstreaks, crescents, ladies, admirals, skippers, and more. When we’re not working or in the backyard, you can usually find us at the gym—we love staying active and make it a priority about six days a week. With our education, experience, and love for our hometown, our goal is to educate, advise, and guide you through the process of buying and selling your home.
