I grew up on job sites. Literally.⁠

My dad built custom homes, and it was a family affair. From a young age, I was sweeping sawdust, insulating walls, painting trim, and even installing tile.⁠

That’s where it started. But what stayed with me was how homes are built. What’s behind the walls, where structure matters, and how different decades of construction tell different stories.⁠

When I walk into a space, I can usually tell right away whether it was well built, if a wall can be moved, if structure should be a concern, or if renovating is even worth it. Because sometimes, the smartest move is to walk away.⁠
