It’s that time again, a little re-introduction, because the Cody showing up today is not the same one who showed up a year ago. Thanks to several incredible humans and coaches who have forced growth and it has been loud, quiet, messy, beautiful, and exactly what it needed to be.

Hi, I’m Cody.
Professional over-thinker turned avid traveler. Husband. Dog dad to the bestest pups in the world 🐶. Brother to the best business partner I could ever ask for. And somehow… the guy who now runs one of the top real estate teams in Wyoming and Colorado with his little sister. (Trust me, neither of us saw that coming, but here we are… and it works.)

A few fun things about me lately:
I’m usually either on a plane, planning a trip, or talking about my next trip.
I believe iced coffee is a year-round lifestyle.
My camera roll is 90 percent dogs, 10 percent work, and I have no regrets.
I will absolutely turn a random Tuesday into a personal adventure, always down for a trip to Cherry Creek Mall 🛍️

This vacation has been the reset I didn’t know I desperately needed.
Like… I came here to rest and ended up spiritually exfoliating my entire life poolside in a hat that honestly deserves its own Instagram account.

Life’s been kicking my butt a little lately. Okay, a lot. Like “what in the Mercury retrograde is going on”. And if you’re in the same boat… just trying to keep your head above water while the universe throws plot twists like it’s a Bravo reunion episode, same…

It’s okay to have a rough day. A rough week. A rough everything.
What’s not okay is pretending you’re fine while your soul is playing the sad violin in the background.

So I hit pause. I came here. I laid in the sun like a lazy lizard with AirPods. I let myself be quiet. And present. And slightly sunburned.

Here’s your sign to take the dang trip.
Eat the snacks. Drink the overpriced smoothie. Cry in the pool if you need to.
(Just, like, wear waterproof mascara. We’re still cute.)

Today isn’t just a holiday, it’s a moment to pause, breathe, and honor the women who hold the world together.

To every kind of mom out there, biological, adoptive, step, bonus, chosen, future, grieving, hoping, healing, showing up for others like it’s second nature, you are seen. You are valued. And you matter more than you probably get told.

As someone who gets to help people find home for a living, let me just say this: the walls don’t matter without someone like you inside them. Moms are the ones who turn drywall into safety, chaos into comfort, and ordinary days into something sacred.

And if today is hard for you, because of loss, longing, distance, or anything in between, please know my heart is with you. You’re not forgotten.

To the women doing the most, loving the hardest, and giving more than they probably should… thank you.

Happy Mother’s Day. You deserve the world today, and every day after.

You ever have one of those weeks where everything’s loud? Not just noise, but like, life is loud. The texts are constant, the emails keep rolling in like they’re on a mission, and even your dogs look at you like, “Bro, do you even sit anymore?”

That was me last week.

I had three closings, two listings fall apart in the same 24-hour window, and one client ghost me mid-negotiation right after telling me I was “the best agent ever.” (Still waiting on the 5 star Google review, by the way.)

And somewhere in between all of that, I realized something while shoving cold chicken into my mouth between showings: I’m not chasing the transaction. I’m chasing the life I promised myself. The one where I get to build something that matters. Something that lasts. Something that feels like me.

Because here’s the thing, real estate isn’t all polished Instagram reels and open house cookies. It’s chasing signatures at 9 p.m., talking first-time buyers off the ledge because the lender ghosted them, and putting on your best “calm” voice when the appraisal comes back $27K under.

But it’s also watching a family cry when they get the keys. Or watching your assistant finally get it and crush her first week. Or seeing your brand start to feel like something real.

This isn’t the part people usually post about. The tired eyes. The missed workouts. The lonely parts. But I think this is the real flex. Showing up anyway. When it’s not sexy. When no one’s clapping. When it’s just you and your why.

So yeah, last week was loud. But this week? I’m turning the volume down on all the noise that doesn’t serve the mission. Because the dream isn’t just selling home… it’s building a life that feels like home, too.

And I’m all in.

Let’s talk about it—because production day is so much more than just recording a few videos and calling it good.

Production day is branding. And no, branding isn’t about vanity—it’s about strategy.
It’s about knowing exactly who I serve, what they need, and making sure every piece of content I put out reflects that. From the look and feel of the visuals, to the tone, to the messaging—I’m building something intentional, not accidental.

Production day is about showing up for my audience and my clients at the level they deserve. If I expect someone to trust me with one of the biggest decisions of their life—buying or selling their home—then I better be bringing top-tier professionalism and value every time I show up on your screen.

It’s about evolving.
The market shifts, the expectations grow, and instead of falling behind—I’m leaning all the way in. Investing heavily in The Harvey Home Team because this isn’t just a hobby. It’s a brand. It’s a mission. It’s a movement.

After a Tough Week…

Some weeks in real estate hit harder than others. This was one of them.

As agents, we don’t just sell houses—we take on people’s dreams, their fears, and sometimes their heartbreak. We fight to make things happen, to solve problems before they arise, to navigate challenges our clients don’t even see. And despite our best efforts, sometimes deals fall apart. Sometimes the wrong buyer comes along, the wrong team is in place, or circumstances outside our control shift everything. And when that happens, it stings.

Because this isn’t just business—it’s personal. We invest our heart and soul into getting homes sold, into helping people move forward, into being the steady hand when everything feels uncertain. But some weeks remind us that not every story has a smooth ending. Some take a little longer to get right.

This week was tough. But tough weeks don’t define us—how we show up the next week does. So, we dust ourselves off, we refocus, and we keep going. Because at the end of the day, the right home, the right buyer, the right opportunity is out there. And I’ll always be here to help make it happen.
