Okay, we caved. Everybody's doing this one.

Nobody has ever hired us because of square footage. They hire us because they want to live somewhere. The porch light slide is the one that got us. Somebody left that on for a person who was coming home.

That's the whole job, honestly. The rest is just knowing houses well enough to keep you out of a bad one.

It’s that time again, a little re-introduction, because the Cody showing up today is not the same one who showed up a year ago. Thanks to several incredible humans and coaches who have forced growth and it has been loud, quiet, messy, beautiful, and exactly what it needed to be.

Hi, I’m Cody.
Professional over-thinker turned avid traveler. Husband. Dog dad to the bestest pups in the world 🐶. Brother to the best business partner I could ever ask for. And somehow… the guy who now runs one of the top real estate teams in Wyoming and Colorado with his little sister. (Trust me, neither of us saw that coming, but here we are… and it works.)

A few fun things about me lately:
I’m usually either on a plane, planning a trip, or talking about my next trip.
I believe iced coffee is a year-round lifestyle.
My camera roll is 90 percent dogs, 10 percent work, and I have no regrets.
I will absolutely turn a random Tuesday into a personal adventure, always down for a trip to Cherry Creek Mall 🛍️
I’m learning how to slow down without losing my fire, still a work in progress.

What I’m about right now:
Choosing joy on purpose
Traveling as much as I humanly can

This vacation has been the reset I didn’t know I desperately needed.
Like… I came here to rest and ended up spiritually exfoliating my entire life poolside in a hat that honestly deserves its own Instagram account.

Life’s been kicking my butt a little lately. Okay, a lot. Like “what in the Mercury retrograde is going on”. And if you’re in the same boat… just trying to keep your head above water while the universe throws plot twists like it’s a Bravo reunion episode, same…

It’s okay to have a rough day. A rough week. A rough everything.
What’s not okay is pretending you’re fine while your soul is playing the sad violin in the background.

So I hit pause. I came here. I laid in the sun like a lazy lizard with AirPods. I let myself be quiet. And present. And slightly sunburned.

Here’s your sign to take the dang trip.
Eat the snacks. Drink the overpriced smoothie. Cry in the pool if you need to.
(Just, like, wear waterproof mascara. We’re still cute.)

You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to reset.
And if you forget that… I’ll be here. In my hat. Floating toward emotional stability like a pool noodle with a dream.

Today isn’t just a holiday, it’s a moment to pause, breathe, and honor the women who hold the world together.

To every kind of mom out there, biological, adoptive, step, bonus, chosen, future, grieving, hoping, healing, showing up for others like it’s second nature, you are seen. You are valued. And you matter more than you probably get told.

As someone who gets to help people find home for a living, let me just say this: the walls don’t matter without someone like you inside them. Moms are the ones who turn drywall into safety, chaos into comfort, and ordinary days into something sacred.

And if today is hard for you, because of loss, longing, distance, or anything in between, please know my heart is with you. You’re not forgotten.

To the women doing the most, loving the hardest, and giving more than they probably should… thank you.

Happy Mother’s Day. You deserve the world today, and every day after.
