🏡 Denver Metro Market Update – December 📊

The housing market closed out the year with signs of moderation, as seasonal slowdowns and steadier pricing created a more balanced environment for both buyers and sellers.

✨ Here’s what we saw:
• Closed listings dipped 2% to about 3,100 homes
• Median home price held steady at $574,000 (down just 1%)
• Single-family homes remained stable at $625,000, down less than 2% year over year
• Attached homes saw a bit more movement, with median prices down 3% to $400,000

Overall, December brought calmer conditions and more predictable pricing — a welcome shift for anyone planning their next move in 2026.

Textured walls are currently a major trend in Denver, adding depth and interest to interior spaces. I've had the privilege of designing the fireplace surrounds for two homes mentioned above. One features a striking 3D tile in evergreen from Tilebar.com, which adds a modern touch to the space. The other showcases a grey plaster surround crafted by Living Craft, a local Denver company known for their exceptional work. These elements not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also bring unique character to each home.
