21 years in real estate, and here's what this career has given me that I never expected.

None of it has anything to do with selling houses.

I did not get into this thinking it would change me. I just wanted to help people find homes. I've always thought of myself as a matchmaker, really, for homes and for the people who belong in them. I figured that would be enough.

Turns out it gave me a whole lot more than that.

It gave me friendships I never would have found anywhere else. It taught me how to stay calm when everything feels like it's falling apart. It made me a better listener, a better advocate, and honestly a better person.

It showed me what people are really made of when the stakes are high. And it reminded me over and over that a home is never just a house. It's a whole chapter of someone's life, and I get to help write it.

Your camera roll is mostly homes, design ideas and screenshots of listings you swear you’ll need later.

You regularly point out recently sold homes to anyone who happens to be in the car with you—and usually know what they sold for.

You notice a new listing, renovation or construction project before almost anything else happening around town.

And you are always thinking about how to make the next listing stand out even more than the last.

After 21 years in real estate, I still genuinely love seeing a beautiful home, discovering a special neighborhood and helping someone make a move that feels right for them.

I guess this is one of those careers you never completely turn off—and honestly, I wouldn’t want to.

It’s usually around here… but the World Cup has officially taken over! ⚽️

So naturally, I started wondering: If World Cup teams were Littleton-area neighborhoods, who would they be?

⚽️ Columbine Valley: The polished veteran. Confident, established and always expects to make a deep run.

⚽️ Downtown Littleton: The fan favorite. Full of personality, great energy and everyone wants to be part of the action.

⚽️ Ken Caryl: The athletic powerhouse. Outdoorsy, competitive and somehow never seems to run out of energy.

⚽️ Bow Mar: Quietly elite. It doesn’t need to make a lot of noise—you already know it belongs at the top.
